What is coaching?

Coaching is a form of guidance that mainly focuses on the present (where you are now) and the future (what you would like to work towards). As a coach, I believe that you already have the answers and potential inside of you but sometimes these become obscured or blocked. My role is to help you uncover your answers and activate your potential so that you can reach your goals and move forward in a way that is aligned with who you are and what matters to you.

What areas are covered in life coaching?

As a Life Coach with a background in psychology, I specialise in wellbeing and personal growth and can support you with this in one or more areas of your life.

Please note that coaching is not therapy or a substitute for it.

Locations

  • In-person Sessions

    These sessions take place in various locations in Amsterdam, including Centraal, Vondelpark and Noord.

  • Walk-Talk Sessions

    These take place in a green space in Amsterdam and combine conversation with mindful movement and nature.

  • Online Sessions

    Sessions from the comfort of your own home. You will receive a private video link before each session.

How it works

Step 1 - Beginning

We start with a free 30-minute consultation to discuss your expectations, goals and questions and get a taste of what it’s like to work together. If we both feel like it’s a good fit and see potential in collaborating, we make an agreement about the next steps.

Step 2 - Awareness

Sessions (1 hour) consist of conversation and interactive exercises tailored to you and your needs. In these sessions, my role is to help you gain awareness, reconnect with what matters to you and explore new ways being and behaving.

Step 3 - Action

After each session, it’s your turn to take action! This can be anything from reflecting on something we discussed to experimenting with a new skill or tool. The work you do in between sessions is as important (if not, more!) than what we do in the sessions.

Step 4 - Ending

Throughout the process, we will regularly review progress and goals. Our work together ends when you have reached your goal or when you feel that you can reach your goal independently. Also, you’re always welcome to reach out to me in the future.
