FAQs

  • While I mainly work with Expats, I welcome anyone who is willing and motivated to work on themselves.

Please note that sessions are in English.

  • No, coaching is not therapy or a substitute for it. If you are struggling with your mental health, I would encourage you to first talk to your GP who can recommend whether you need specialised mental health support (e.g. a psychologist, psychotherapist, psychiatrist) or not. While I have a background in psychology and use this to inform the support I offer, as a coach I’m not qualified to diagnose and/or treat mental health disorders.

  • I believe that most people can benefit from coaching if they are fully committed to the process and there is a good connection and trust between them and their coach. This is why I think that it is important to have a consultation with you to explore whether we’re a good match for each other and get a sense of what it would be like working together.

As a coach, I am fully committed to our partnership and I am here to listen, guide, encourage, and challenge you.

As the client, you are in charge of this journey and the more you’re invested in it, the more you will get out of it.

  • I’m aware that not everyone is able to afford the standard fees for my sessions and I want to make my service as accessible as possible, so I work with a sliding scale model and offer reduced rates. If you have questions or would like to know more, please get in touch at [email protected].

  • In my experience, online sessions can be just as effective as in-person, and for many clients, it’s a more convenient, accessible, and affordable option.

  • You can book a free consultation by sending an email to [email protected] or directly booking here.

  • There is no standard answer to this and it depends on your individual needs and goals. Some people need only a few sessions and others want longer-term guidance. As a general guideline, I recommend working together for a minimum of 5 sessions and then re-evaluating.

  • Sessions last 1 hour and at the start I typically recommend meeting every one or two weeks. I find this allows for enough time to process and reflect on the previous session whilst also maintaining momentum. Later on in the process, the session frequency might decrease and become more of a check-in until we finally bring our work together to a close.

  • If you need to cancel or change your session I ask you to give me as much notice as possible. Unless it is an unexpected emergency, I will charge the full fee for the session if you cancel with less than 24 hours notice.
